How often have we heard the saying "If I knew then what I know now?" Innumerable I'm certain. Unfortunately, that's a futile thought. So how can one make better usage of the knowledge they have NOW that they didn't possess in times past? APPLICATION and SHARING. James instructs us "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." (1:22) Take what you know and apply it then teach it to those who are in the proceeding generation. Too often we hoard information and knowledge and understanding not understanding the plan and intent of God. His truth endures from generation to generation and thusly must be shared. Take your knowledge, take your understanding, take your experience and share them. Jesus said "it is more blessed to Give than to Receive." (Acts 20:35)

It's not a New Attack.....ask Jesus.....
The enemy has ALWAYS been after the youth. Just like King Herod in Matthew Chapter 2 when he had heard of the wise men inquiring about the one who was born King of the Jews (Jesus), satan is troubled! After all, no one likes to lose. Upon hearing, King Herod did his own inquiry of the chief priests and scribes of the city of Christ's Birth and they responded with "In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet" The enemy has inquired about you since the day of your birth and even has the facts AND yet he has no power to stop what God has already spoken over your life. Throw in the towel devil!
Herod with his deceptive self sends the wise men on their way and petitions them to return once they find this Christ so that he himself can worship. LIAR LIAR KINGDOM ON FIRE! Despite the edict from the King, a dream from God lead the wise men in another direction once they completed their worship of Jesus. Just like these wise men, as we begin to worship Jesus, God will change our direction and keep us out of the grasp of the enemy. The enemy who desire us to worship him instead of Jesus (Matthew Ch 4)
Now we find Herod disgusted and enraged as his deceptive plot is spoiled. In his anger he initiates a decree in Bethlehem and all the surrounding coasts to slay all of the children who were 2 yrs and younger. He wreaked havoc on all of the unsuspecting families of that day and he did it all because of JESUS. He's still wreaking havoc today because of Jesus, it isn't really about you, it's the God in you. It's the Word the has been spoken over your life.
satan desires to wipe out all of the youth not just of a city or it's surrounding coasts but of the entire world. If he can't kill them from the inception, he'll rob them of their purity, steal their identity, steal their childhood and whatever other demonic thing he can imagine to abort the potential that God has placed in them.
Herod spent two years awaiting the return of the wise men to no avail, satan has spent thousands of years. He's determined! Albeit, when God has spoken a word over your life, the enemy with all of his power and might and patience, can't ABORT the purpose and plan of God for your life. God's Word reigns supreme over any edict of the enemy. God is faithful and so is his word which prospers and accomplishes that which pleases God.(Isaiah 55:11) Jesus escaped and so shall you. The edict is CANCELLED!
In 2010 we're striking back against the enemy and reclaiming our young people for the Glory of God. God desires for them to be Young and Saved. Saved from sin, Saved from depression, saved from generational curses, saved from destruction, saved from disaster, saved from the edict of the enemy, saved from addictions, saved from molestation, saved from abuse SAVED SAVED SAVED!
It's not a new attack and it's not a new enemy and we are not new to this. No longer will we be ignorant of satan and his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11) BUT we will Strike Back in full assurance, knowing that "Greater is He that's within us than he that is in the World." (1 John 4:4)
